About the Role

SimCorp A/S is a leading provider of integrated investment management solutions, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Accounting and Operations team in APAC as a Lead Business Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and functional delivery in the successful deployment of SimCorp Dimension within a client's environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage one or more business-related workstreams in the implementation project, responsible for identifying all required tasks, dependencies, and time/resource estimates and providing status updates to Project Manager for inclusion in the overall project plan.
  • Act as project leader for small and mid-sized SimCorp Dimension projects.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and trainings at new or existing clients in business-related areas and domains.
  • Document client requirements and map to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes, identifying improvements and efficiencies where possible.
  • Possess understanding of basic project planning.
  • Responsible for providing configuration and end-user training, allowing the client to maintain SimCorp Dimension and optimize its usage.
  • Serve as key contact for customers for questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension.
  • Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job.
  • Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to customers in your role as a trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Several years of experience supporting SimCorp Dimension solutions, covering topics such as Investment/Financial Accounting, Fund Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, and Reconciliations.
  • Experience and knowledge within accounting standards/regulations (e.g., IFRS9, USGAAP, Tax).
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Flexible for travel as we operate as an APAC organization.
