Executive Culinary Director

Seeking a motivated and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team at Roseville Retirement Living, a well-established community in Doncaster East. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exquisite catering and hospitality services that exceed the satisfaction of all guests.
Job OverviewThis is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday 10am - 6.00pm. You will be working closely with the Community Manager and your team of hospitality staff to deliver outstanding service to customers.

- Be responsible for all kitchen and dining operations - overseeing hospitality services, providing guidance to your team and creating fresh ideas
- Work closely with your food & beverage team to deliver great service, ensure the restaurant is running smoothly and coordinating ideas for events and functions
- Monitor daily Food Safety checklists and ensure strict adherence to all OH&S policies
- Complete stock management of all goods including ordering, rotation and amendments
- Complete staff rostering, manage development & hiring and ensure your team deliver outstanding service to customers
- Following up on day-to-day operational issues including adhering to schedules, cleaning lists and performance issues
- Experience in a casual dining kitchen setting (e.g retirement villages, cafes, a la carte settings, RSLs or pubs)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required)
- Qualified Food Safety Supervisor (required)
- Kitchen management experience (ordering stock, rostering and admin experience)
- Current Police Check clearance and minimum two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
