**The Team**

The Finance and Corporate Performance Branch supports the organization to meet its obligations for efficient and effective use of public resources.

This branch consists of four sections: Financial Accounting and Services, Management Accounting, Corporate Performance, and External Budgets and Strategic Sourcing and Systems.

We provide strategic financial management and advice, budget management, financial services, reporting, and administration of the Financial Management Information System.

**Your Role**

As Assistant Director, you will lead the day-to-day work of the financial reporting team. You will be trusted to deliver high-quality internal and external financial reports.

You will supervise a team that undertakes annual and month-end processes, including processing journals, preparing end-of-month reconciliations, reporting, and taxation returns.

Additionally, this role involves leading the delivery of the annual financial statements, maintaining asset and lease registers, and coordinating asset validation activities.
