About the Role

Caval Ridge is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on traditional lands. There are current opportunities in the Production Coal and Overburden teams for experienced multi-skilled operators who have experience in coal mining in an open-cut mine.

The roles will be fly-in-fly-out from Brisbane or Cairns, or drive-in-drive-out. The roster will be a 7:7 rotating roster.

You must have 2 or more skills from the following list:

  • Excavator/Shovel Operators - Hitachi 5600 | CAT 6040, 6060
  • Haul Truck Operators - CAT 789 | 793
  • Grader Operators - CAT 16M & 24M
  • Dozer Operators - CAT D10 | D11
  • Loader - WA1200 | CAT 994

About You

  • Minimum 'C' Class Driver's licence
  • Current Standard 11 or BMA Core
  • Safety conscious and focused
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual who shows initiative and can work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
