About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Dragline Operator to join our team at Peak Downs Mine, based near Moranbah in Central Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity that requires a strong commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping, and compliance for mine working procedures
  • Work cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will possess excellent communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence. You will also be motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current Dragline Operating experience with significant open-cut mining experience
  • An HR licence or site Heavy Rigid authorisation
  • A genuine commitment to safety
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through influence
  • Motivated, enthusiastic individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations
  • A minimum C Class Driver's licence
  • A passion for continuous improvement to drive individual and team performance
