Job Description:
As an Industry Leader for Category Growth and Customer Collaboration, you will be responsible for driving category expansion and developing strategic partnerships with major corporate accounts. Your primary objective is to create insights-based solutions that deliver best-in-class category leadership, improve Perfect Store metrics, and optimize sales revenue and profitability at the category and portfolio level.

You will be an expert in category and shopper insights, turning those insights into cohesive action plans, while building and leveraging relationships both internally and with customers.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the Category Review Process & Delivery anchored to improving our Perfect Store Score. Communicate review process and lead prep meetings with cross-functional teams to align on objectives, risks, roles, and responsibilities.

      • Manage the preparation and delivery of the Category Review process to our customer, including detailed market analysis, creation of actionable insights, and providing point-of-purchase recommendations. Circulate review outcomes and actions to the business, ensuring timely completion.

        • Drive improvement to the customer's Perfect Store scores across aisle, transaction zone, and display, clearly outlining ambition and strategy required.

          • Lead the customer category growth agenda linked to the Joint Business Plan, building strong and influential relationships focused on delivering shopper, channel, and category-centric solutions, positioning Mars as a trusted category captain.

            • Grounded in our category vision, execute customer plans that ensure a strong understanding of category growth drivers, role, and attractiveness are well-embedded as the foundation for customer growth plans and activation.

              • Develop compelling insight-led category solutions that influence shopper behavior and convert more shoppers and transactions at the point of sale, delivering a 3-way win, and identifying future customer growth opportunities.
