About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Category Marketing Specialist to join our commercial Sales and Marketing team, supporting customers across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying sales and marketing opportunities, assisting in category planning, and managing relationships with key retail and independent customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Development: Generate innovative product ideas, create compelling product descriptions, and support product sourcing to drive business growth.
  2. Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to optimize category growth and customer planograms.
  3. Customer Support: Review and optimize customer planograms to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Logistics Management: Oversee product registration, artwork approvals, and factory audits for smooth operations.
  5. Presentations: Deliver regular presentations on slow-moving stock, competitor analysis, and promotional recommendations.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 3+ years of experience in a retail or FMCG environment, with expertise in a category, sales, or marketing function.
  2. Education: Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  3. Skillset: Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. Experience with Adobe platforms is advantageous.
  4. Culture: Collaborative and team-oriented culture with access to company-sponsored training and development programs.
