Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our team at our new Australian Distilling Co venue in Mercato Centrale. As a key member of our operations team, you will drive sales growth, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure our brands remain best-in-class.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth: Meet set targets and budgets while closely managing operational costs.
  • Team Leadership: Onboard, develop, and manage a high-performing team with hands-on leadership.
  • Product Training: Conduct engaging product training and tasting events.
  • Brand Representation: Actively promote our product range and positively represent our brand at all times.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Operational Management: Manage and complete operational duties, including rostering, forecasting, inventory management, and reporting.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of Retail Management experience.
  • A proven track record of success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • A high level of motivation and ability to think outside the square.
  • Focused, driven, and motivated.
  • A desire to learn and embrace the 'lean' culture of the organisation.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong values, ensuring integrity in every decision and action.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
What We Offer

An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate, estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
