About this role

We're seeking a highly motivated Key Account Strategic Partner to join our team at ITW. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable, profitable, and long-term growth through market gain and robust strategic account plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of growth initiatives and strategic account plans for each customer
  • Work with sales leaders to achieve sales targets by collaborating with and leveraging internal and external resources to support execution and delivery of sales initiatives
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data and sources to analyse and identify insights that drive both tactical and strategic decision making
  • Achieve win/win for ITW and customer through negotiation of terms including rebates, price, volumes, promos, growth incentives, and more
  • Identify and facilitate right customer/stakeholders and multi-level relationships to deliver outcomes for ITW
  • Support development of annual and long-range segment plans (financial, resource, and pacing that drive sustainable long-term growth)

About you

  • Business degree or equivalent preferred
  • Retail/construction industry experience considered beneficial but certainly not essential
  • Proven capability to deliver sales targets and results through data-driven problem solving and relationship management
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills and development and implementation of strategic account plans
  • Strong communication and technical aptitude
  • Commitment to driving a safety culture and continuous improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Curious and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to make a positive impact on the culture of the business
