Grants Management Specialist

We are the Queensland Government, a highly regarded government department making a meaningful and positive difference for many Queenslanders.
As a Grants Officer in the Community Benefit Funds Unit, you will be directly responsible for implementing best practice grants management across all stages of the funding cycle, ensuring that unit objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Makes informed, strategic decisions based on insight into the broader context.
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
- Maintains a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.
- Gathers insights and applies new ideas to inform future practices.
- Demonstrates accountability for achieving and maintaining high-quality results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency.
- Works independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with high volume processing to deliver quality outcomes in set time frames.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills is essential.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams).
- Contributes to a workplace culture of respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
