
Senior Land Acquisition Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of land strategy to secure lands for future renewable energy projects. Your expertise will enable us to achieve our renewable energy aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with land advisors to execute APAC and Global Land project land assembly plans through strategic acquisitions, contract rights, mining permits, licenses, and leases.
- Maintain accurate records of contract documents in our systems.
- Track key dates, milestones, renewals, and compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Commercial, Native Title, Project Approvals, Environment, Heritage, and project controls teams to ensure coordination and alignment.
- Develop and maintain project coordination tools, including logs of stakeholder engagement and other relevant project management tools.
- Optimize tools to capture and present information on land rights and interests, including capturing land access agreements in the relevant database (PX4) and ensuring agreement validity for long-term land access requirements.
- Conduct due diligence inquiries on properties and prepare reports outlining findings.
- Coordinate Governance and Compliance checks with the Legal team.
- Coordinate exclusive collaboration contracts, NDA's, and similar agreements, working with Legal on complex issues.
- Ensure safe and valid land access by coordinating the land access component of Land Use Certificates (LUCs) on InfoScope.
- Plan meetings, organize project logistics, and arrange travel requirements for the team, including preparing Journey Management Plans, finalizing presentation materials, and setting up stakeholder meetings.
- Experience in commercial support is essential.
- Familiarity with WA land tenure classifications is desirable.
- Previous experience as a para-legal is desirable.
- High proficiency in using databases and systems to manage information is required.
- Ability to interact effectively across all levels and functions to deliver outcomes is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration is required.
- Self-motivation and resilience when managing diverse workloads and priorities, delivering quality and timely results, are necessary.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required.
