Land Acquisition Coordinator Job

This role will provide key support to secure lands for renewable energy projects and facilitate the delivery of long-term land access requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Land Advisors to execute land project plans via optimal acquisitions, contracts, permits, licences, and leases.
  • Ensure all contract documents are accurately recorded in systems.
  • Track key milestones, renewals, and compliance obligations.
  • Develop and maintain project coordination tools including stakeholder engagement logs and other management tools relevant to contract administration.
  • Capture and present information on land rights and interests, ensuring validity of agreements to meet long term requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence enquiries on properties (such as title searches) and prepare reports setting out findings.
  • Coordinate Governance and Compliance checks with Legal team.
  • Coordinate exclusive collaboration contracts, NDA's, and similar agreements, working with Legal on novel issues.
  • Coordinate land access component of Land Use Certificates on InfoScope to ensure safe access to properties under agreement or ownership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Commercial support experience essential.
  • Knowledge of WA land tenure classifications desirable.
  • Para-legal experience desirable.
