Job Description">

As a leading insurance provider, we are seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Specialist to join our team. This role will involve managing a portfolio of motor claims, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Manage a portfolio of motor claims, including third-party repairs/demands, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained with internal and external customers, while building a network of professional relationships.
  • Manage a high call volume of calls, ensuring efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and its impact on claims management, making liability decisions in line with Australian Road Rules.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to report on claim progress, developments, and potential strategic opportunities to avoid escalations.
">Required Skills & Qualifications:">
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the insurance industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Road Rules.
  • Experience in handling claims management processes and procedures across various general insurance product lines.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, planning and prioritizing effectively, organizing tasks, and managing competing resources and demands.
  • High attention to detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy, and ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
