Offender Rehabilitation Specialist

Effective offender rehabilitation is at the core of this role.
The management and supervision of prisoners on parole, clients under post-sentence supervision, and court orders are overseen by Community Correctional Services (CCS).
This position involves developing strategic partnerships with government agencies and non-government organizations to facilitate unpaid work as part of community-based sentences imposed by courts.
As a Community Work Officer, you will be responsible for administering relevant community work practices, including monitoring attendance and compliance with requirements at community work placements, and contracting offenders to suitable local community work sites.
You will build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, produce reports and standard documentation in line with procedural guidelines, and conduct on-site risk assessments or other occupational health and safety processes as required.
This position requires self-management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to make sound, timely, and well-informed decisions.
