About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of our service, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to deliver return to work solutions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals by helping them overcome work-related injuries and achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case management, ensuring effective support for clients throughout the rehabilitation process
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs, in collaboration with employers and employees
  • Working closely with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Completing assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, to identify the best possible outcomes for clients

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or related field
  • Full Membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Occupational Rehabilitation Counsellors)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits, driving innovative solutions and outcomes
