The primary responsibilities include delivering specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and intervention for clients with neurological conditions. This role also involves coordinating seamless transitions through the healthcare system by collaborating with relevant staff and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and intervention for clients with conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, progressive neurological disorders, vestibular conditions, falls management, and other neurological conditions.">
  • Evaluate and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.">
  • Ensure continuity of care for patients and their families by maintaining effective communication with healthcare providers and community agencies.">
  • Meet organizational standards for documentation and reporting.">
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical expertise and stay updated with new developments.">

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Be registered as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.">
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills within the Neurological Rehabilitation field.">
  • Demonstrate an understanding of developing others through clinical supervision, mentoring, training, and role modeling.">
