About FourQuarters Recruitment:

We are engaged with a reputable business located in the Melbourne CBD, seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have expertise in Netsuite and must have worked in a similar transactional finance role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and process invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure all financial records are accurately maintained
  • Perform routine bank reconciliations to identify any discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly and ad-hoc payments to suppliers as required
  • Reconcile supplier statements to keep accounts up-to-date
  • Maintain comprehensive records in the accounting ERP for all suppliers, debtors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold finance policies and compliance standards
  • Report any irregular transactions to your manager for further investigation
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving finance processes and efficiencies
  • Assist with filing and general administrative duties as needed

About You:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Management is preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in AP/AR and administrative support
  • High accuracy and speed in data entry tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MUST have NetSuite experience
  • Be immediately available to start or join the business within one week's notice
Estimated Salary Range:

$40 per hour or more (dependent on experience)
