This freelance role involves creating business partnerships with stakeholders across Quantum Market Research and working closely with the Finance Director as a key support source.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of finance-related transactions for Quantum Market Research. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the AP function and exercising ownership when necessary
  • Managing the AR function from end-to-end
  • Owning cash flow forecasting
  • Overseeing the full month-end process
  • Ensuring timely updates for senior stakeholders and our parent company
  • Submitting all financial reporting documents and requirements on time
  • Managing project administration into our financial reporting system and closing projects when completed
  • End-to-end management of the payroll function and monthly payroll tax
  • Compiling documentation for SBOX audits and annual financial audits

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Degree qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Multiple years of experience in a commercial accounting role
  • A proven understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a confident and respectful manner
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous agency experience is ideal but not essential
