About Our Team

Pitcher Partners' Investment Advisory practice provides a broad range of services, including advice, monitoring, reporting, and administration to various clients, from high-net-worth individuals to institutional and not-for-profit clients.

We cover a wide range of asset classes and investment products, including listed securities and managed funds.

About the Role

The Financial Services Administrator is required to provide high-quality banking support to our Investment Advisory, Superannuation, Family Office, and Private Client groups.

The role involves tasks such as electronic payment for securities purchased, term deposits, client requests, invoices, ATO fees, and payments as instructed by clients.

Additional responsibilities include drawing/depositing cheques, reconciling, and arranging manager and partner payment authorization to enable daily processing of payments.

The role also requires an element of project support as the division is currently transitioning to a new banking platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create client batches within the ANZ Transactive system or NAB Connect
  • Obtain current account balances and prepare authorization sheets
  • E nsure payment cut-off times are met
  • Create new term deposits with the bank
  • Maintain records relating to existing deposits in the Xplan system
  • Receive and prepare cheques and verify cheque requests
  • Write manual cheques and obtain authorized signatories
  • Print reconciliation reports and sign off completed bank reconciliations
  • F il all relevant paperwork as required

About You

We're looking for a skilled administrator with previous experience in a banking or administration role within a financial planning/investment services environment.

You will have strong administrative skills, be able to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and possess advanced Microsoft Office skills.

You will also have experience working with financial planning software (e.g. Xplan).
