The Role

This role is responsible for the ongoing management of electrical and mechanical services infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, data centers, and HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated technical skills and experience in supporting electrical and/or mechanical services infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all building services are operating efficiently and as intended.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical services infrastructure.
  • Review and negotiate service contracts and select appropriate contractors.
  • Liaise with engineers, designers, and architects on new construction projects.
  • Manage infrastructure maintenance activities and supervise contractors.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience/coursework.
  • Thorough multidiscipline understanding of Data Center operations and strong working knowledge of critical Data Center support environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and install software applications.
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail.
