Relocation Support Officer
About the RoleThe Relocation Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth transition of VCAT's operations to its new venue. This involves participating in the planning and management of relocation activities, coordinating pre-relocation tasks such as disposal of obsolete items, materials, equipment and furniture, liaising with removalist contractors, supporting the inventory process, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and management of relocation activities
- Coordinate pre-relocation activities, including disposal of obsolete items, materials, equipment and furniture
- Liaise with removalist contractors and internal stakeholders
- Support the inventory process to ensure accurate tracking and preparation for the move
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with VCAT's members, staff, landlords, moving companies and other relevant parties
To be successful in this role, you will have strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines in a dynamic environment. You will also have experience in coordinating office relocations or fit-out projects, including managing logistics, assets, operations, facilities, events or administrative support.
