Job DescriptionThis key position involves end-to-end credit and collections management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 B2B customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively engaging customers to ensure payments are made in line with collection timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of debtor aging and providing reliable cash forecasting with detailed performance commentary.
- Educating customers on Order to Cash (O2C) processes and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for payment-related issues, leading escalations for resolution.
- Leading customer meetings confidently, presenting data-driven insights to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensuring data integrity for new customers, raising or escalating claims and disputes when necessary.
- Performing ad hoc billing, customized billing, and cash application tasks.
- Achieving monthly Quality & Assurance compliance of over 90%.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 2 years of experience in credit or collections roles.
- A proven track record managing high-value B2B debtors, with B2C experience being a plus.
- Strong knowledge of credit concepts, including aged trial balance, DSO, and doubtful debt provisions.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with effective risk management abilities.
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle and Salesforce is highly desirable.
