We are seeking a Customer Experience Ambassador to join our team at Flight Centre Travel Group Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with our Customer Care Leader and Agents to assist online customers via Aunt Betty and BYOjet with any queries they may have.

As a division of the Flight Centre Travel Group, we are based in Broadbeach and focus on being the cheapest in the online flight market, competing on price comparison sites such as Skyscanner, Kayak, and Google Flights. Our lean structure and technology-driven approach enable us to offer competitive prices while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

The Role

As a Customer Experience Ambassador, you will be responsible for working closely with our offshore customer care agents to improve the customer resolution pathway. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent communication skills via phone and email to assist customers with queries, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Assisting with short and long-term projects centered around improving customer experience.
  • Liaising with airline contacts to achieve favourable outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GDS knowledge (Sabre preferred but not essential).
  • Travel & Tourism industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills (email and phone).
  • Ability to work as part of a global team.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
