About the ICT School Support Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an ICT School Support Officer.

This is a key role within our organisation, responsible for providing technical support to our end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.

They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issues in a timely manner.
  2. Software and Application Support: Supporting the installation, configuration and maintenance of software and applications used by the school.
  3. Network Infrastructure: Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the school's network infrastructure, including hardware and software.
  4. User Account Management: Managing user accounts and permissions within online learning platforms.
  5. Group ICT Manager Support: Providing ICT support to the Group ICT Manager across the organisation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of computer systems and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
