About the Opportunity

The Divisional Financial Controller will lead the Accounting and Payroll functions, overseeing a variety of corporate entities. As an exceptional leader, you will have the opportunity to develop within the organisation with a clear plan and mentor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Division Monthly financials
  • Review Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations
  • Prepare month end reports for Divisional CEO and Group CFO, including month end reports, KPI's, Dashboards and analysis
  • Key monthly cycle lodgments and reporting including: BAS, Payroll, Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation
  • Annual budgeting
  • Quarterly reforecasting
  • Corresponding with Auditors
  • Key Performance Indicator reporting and analysis
  • Overseeing the weekly payroll process for on-hire employees

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Financial Accountant or Company Accountant
  • Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA)
  • Strong management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills
