Night Operations Manager

The Night Manager is a key member of the property-based Operations team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents as well as the effective management and escalation of incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Management: Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions, including room charges, cash handling, and credit card transactions.
- Night Shift Operations: Manage the night shift operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring smooth operations during the night.
- Account Verification and Reporting: Verify the accuracy of guest accounts, resolve any discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of the premises during the night, monitoring CCTV systems, and promptly addressing any security concerns or emergencies.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating reservations, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination between shifts.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service/operations role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising accuracy and customer service.
- Technical Skills: Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
- Leadership Skills: Leadership and supervisory experience and skills.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
- Certifications: The successful applicant will require a Working with Children Check (WWC) and Police Check upon appointment.
