Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Manager to join our Front Office Leadership team at Novotel Wellington. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for supervising our team overnight and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel in the absence of the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Night team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Manage the security and safety of hotel guests and employees.
- Process guest account transactions and run reports as required.
- Compile Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance.
- Complete computer system backups and save them in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
- Respond quickly to all guest concerns and follow up with relevant departments.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous front office experience at a supervisory level.
- A current GM Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud is advantageous.
- A first aid certificate is favourable.
- A current New Zealand Restricted or Full Drivers licence.
- NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit.
