About the Role

The Sales Manager - HVAC Solutions is responsible for driving sales by actively engaging with prospects for a solution-based offering while promoting HVAC products and services to prospective customers. This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong sales focus to effectively identify, engage, and assist in closing deals. This is a crucial role in meeting regional sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers.
  • Advise and guide on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Present technical information and conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.
  • Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
  • Collaborate to develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets for region.
  • Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
  • Maintain a dotted reporting line to the Country Sales Manager for effective coordination and communication between customer segments.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry.
  • Previously managed technical teams and projects in HVAC or similar field
  • Ability to lead and drive success through effective team sales management.
  • Chair team meetings and facilitate review deliverables.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Understand urgency with customers.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
