Indigenous Affairs Leadership Position

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reconciliation and Community Engagement Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Indigenous Affairs and contribute to Sodexo's commitment to reconciliation and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) that aligns with Sodexo's values and strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities, Traditional Owners, and Native Title Custodians to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a team of Indigenous Mentor and Community Liaison Officers to foster respect, inclusivity, and community engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to frontline managers and operations teams to ensure culturally safe practices are embedded in business as usual.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to incorporate Traditional Owner engagement strategies in bids and tenders.
- Bachelor's degree in Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in Indigenous affairs leadership, community engagement, or similar roles within a corporate environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role, with a background in service environments and collaboration with Indigenous communities.
