About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Business Development Lead to join our team at Team Aaa. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of cloud technology to drive decarbonization outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build Strategic Sustainability-Themed Opportunities: Engage with prospects, partners, and existing customers to accelerate, qualify, and close large-scale migration and modernization opportunities that drive decarbonization objectives.
  2. Develop Sustainability-Focused Messaging and Collateral: Communicate the AWS and relevant Pan Amazon sustainability value proposition to customers.
  3. Execute Sustainability-Focused Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns, including speaking at events with partners, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, to promote AWS sustainability solutions.
  4. Understand Customer Sustainability Requirements: Work closely with internal specialist cloud services teams to guide direction on sustainable product offerings for customers.
  5. Present Sustainability Business Reviews: Prepare and present business reviews to senior management, highlighting progress and roadblocks to growth for sustainability opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements

6+ years of professional or military experience

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Experience curating and developing significant and scalable customer pipelines (ideally focused on data and/or sustainability)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with technology transformation initiatives

Experience managing sustainability BD programs across cross-functional teams, at events, and with strategic customer personas
