Job Overview

Hanes Australasia is seeking a skilled Team Leader to join their Truganina Distribution Centre team in VIC. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a safe working environment and coordinate team members to achieve productivity KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Demonstrate and lead team members to follow safety rules, guidelines, and work practices.
  • Coordinate Team Functions: Perform and coordinate tasks with a positive approach that builds team morale.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and perform training to equip team members to work safely, produce quality outcomes, and achieve productivity KPIs.
  • Workforce Planning: Perform workforce planning and workflow management activities to ensure teams are fully utilized and productive.
  • Safety Reporting: Raise safety-related information in HIIQA and assist in coordinating or participating in OHS investigations and audits.
Requirements and Skills
  • Strong Commitment to Safety: Uphold the Code of Conduct and demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and well-being.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with basic computer literacy skills.
