About the Role

Lead Group is seeking an experienced Business Restructuring Team Lead to join our team in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on the business and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex restructuring processes, overseeing an engagement team, and developing and delivering restructuring and insolvency strategies. You will work closely with our clients to analyse and understand their business performance and position, and assist in stakeholder communication.

  • Develop and deliver restructuring and insolvency strategies
  • Oversee an engagement team and manage multiple workstreams
  • Assist clients in analysing and understanding their business performance and position
  • Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and written correspondence
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 6-10 years of experience in managing insolvency and restructuring cases
  • Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or finance-related field
  • CA qualified or equivalent
  • ARITA Qualification desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Financial analytical and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting and business principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have opportunities for professional development and networking through internal and external training, as well as on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
