Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sales Team: Oversee a team of sales professionals, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and mentorship to enhance their performance and ensure their growth aligns with company goals.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the Revenue department to create and implement comprehensive sales plans and forecasts.
- Brand Management: Collaborate closely with the Marketing department, offering expert guidance and support for brand and marketing initiatives related to Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.
- Social Media Management: Create, develop, and implement all social media campaigns for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.
- Market Analysis: Assess the overall sales performance and market potential of the individual properties.
- Financial Management: Develop, oversee, and manage operating budgets (OPEX) for sales activities, ensuring that expenditures are aligned with strategic goals and financial constraints.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets, taking corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations and ensure goals are met.
- Staff Development: Provide direction and support to staff through constructive feedback, coaching, and targeted training programs to enhance their skills and performance.
- Industry Representation: Represent Oaks Hotels brands at various trade shows and association meetings, showcasing the company's offerings and networking with industry professionals.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clients and partners, to foster collaboration and business opportunities.
- Issue Reporting: Identify and report significant issues to the General Manager or Director of Operations, seeking their support and intervention to resolve challenges effectively.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in senior sales management, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing sales strategy.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, with solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel domestically when required.
- Professional Presentation: A polished professional presentation and a strong work ethic, reflecting a high level of dedication and integrity in all professional interactions.
