Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLM software support specialist to join our team. As a participant support officer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients using Siemens PLM solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or information technology and demonstrated experience in PLM software support. They will also possess proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Assistance: Provide timely and effective technical assistance to clients experiencing issues with PLM software and hardware.
  • Software Support: Offer support to clients for Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring the resolution of user issues.
  • Hardware Requirements: Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
  • Problem Resolution: Diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows.
  • System Infrastructure: Install, download, and configure PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated Experience: Demonstrate experience in PLM software support.
  • PLM Expertise: Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter.

Key Skills

  • CAD Software: Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly the Solid Edge portfolio.
  • PLM Modules: In-depth knowledge of PLM modules, including Requirement Management and Change Management.
  • Programming Skills: Programming & technical skills, including TCL and VB.NET.
