Overview

ICT Support Technician (Customer Support) – permanent full-time role based in Moorabbin, VIC. Employer: Prolim Technologies, on behalf of Mansys Pty Ltd (recruitment consultants). Prolim Technologies delivers end-to-end PLM and engineering solutions, including CAD/CAM/CAE tools such as SolidEdge, NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, and IoT platforms. As Siemens Expert Partner, they offer consulting, implementation, training, customization, and support to boost innovation, efficiency, and profitability for businesses across ANZ. The role provides essential support, education, and guidance in deploying and maintaining clients' computer infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving technical problems to support engineering and product development.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware problems.
  • Provide support to clients for Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
  • Diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Install, download, and configure PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment.
  • Develop and conduct user training sessions and create clear technical documentation, such as procedural and operational guides, to support end-users.
  • Liaise with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Must Have
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in PLM software support.
Skills Required
  • Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter (including Rich Client, Active Workspace, and BMIDE).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly the Solid Edge portfolio including NX Portfolio for Design (Modeling, Mold Wizard, etc.), and Rhino.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM modules including Requirements Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration.
  • Programming and technical skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
Salary

Annual salary of 80, ,000 plus bonus plus superannuation.
