About the Role

Chubb Fire is seeking a skilled Electrician/Fire Alarm Technician to provide product support and technical services within the Fire industry across Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, maintain, and install fire detection and gaseous systems within the Tasmania area for numerous clients in both the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and adapt to the role quickly.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to our clients, ensuring their fire safety and security needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
  • Current Electrical Licence or FPAS Accreditation is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
  • Current driver's licence
  • Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.
  • A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.
  • Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
  • Ability to work an on-call roster.
