
Strategic Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team and develop strong commercial relationships with major mining customers.
- This key role will be accountable for partnering with customers to deliver strong commercial outcomes across their portfolio of assets.
- The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the rail freight industry.
- This role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams to design and develop customer proposals, tender responses and business cases.
- You will lead commercial negotiations and contracting processes with customers, focusing on renewing current contracts prior to expiry.
- Deliver performance requirements of each contract through rigorous contract performance process.

In this role, you will work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing customer account plans to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Leading commercial negotiations and contracting processes to secure new business opportunities.
- Managing contract performance and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, marketing or account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
