We're seeking an experienced Clinical Expert in Infection Prevention and Control to join our clinical services team.

About the Role

This permanent part-time role involves providing clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced leadership relevant to infection prevention and control.

You will work collaboratively with care community leadership and nationally with the Clinical Services and Quality Team to support teams in delivering safe quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse Division 1 qualification with at least 5 years' experience in a similar senior clinical nurse leadership role
  • Postgraduate qualifications in infection prevention and management or gerontology
  • Membership of the Australian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC)
  • Extensive experience in infection prevention and control in acute, sub-acute and aged care sectors
  • Experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards and organisational policies and procedures
