Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise and consultancy to support the delivery of safe and high-quality care to our residents.
- Collaborate with care community leadership to develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our infection control practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior clinical nurse leadership role.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Management or a related field.
- Membership of the Australian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC).
- Extensive experience in infection prevention and control in acute, sub-acute, and aged care settings.
