Quality and Risk Management Opportunity

About The Role

Clinical Nurse - Quality and Risk / Infection Control needed to support the Quality/Risk and Infection Control programs for the strategic direction, daily operational processes and accreditation for the hospital. Reporting to the Quality, Risk and Infection Control Manager, this role involves implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Quality and Infection Control procedures, practices, and standards. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and participate in relevant committees to collect and collate data, KPIs, and infection control clinical indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality and Risk Management programs
  • Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Quality and Infection Control procedures, practices, and standards
  • Participate in relevant committees to collect and collate data, KPIs, and infection control clinical indicators
  • Undertake direct patient care as required providing guidance and support to less experienced members of the nursing team

Requirements

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • At least 5 years post graduate experience and/or qualifications in either Infection Control and/or Quality Management
  • Experience in the Acute setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
