The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at The Victoria Clinic in Prahran. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our hospital meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care and make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Quality and Infection Control procedures, practices and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to collect and collate data, KPIs and infection control clinical indicators.
- Conduct clinical audits, monitoring and surveillance as required.
- Provide education and training to staff on relevant topics.
- Support clinical teams to meet required standards.
Requirements
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- At least 5 years post graduate experience and/or qualifications in either Infection Control and/or Quality Management.
- Experience in the Acute setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care.
- High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various databases.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
