Technical Services and Reliability Engineer Job Description

The role of Technical Services and Reliability Engineer is a crucial position within the Continuing Airworthiness team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the optimum safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the fleet.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with OEM and Part 21 instructions, providing technical assistance to the Technical Services Manager, and liaising with Engineering and Flight Operations departments on technical matters and troubleshooting defects.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair and modification of aircraft according to OEM and Part 21 instructions
  • Provide technical support to the Technical Services Manager
  • Liaise with Engineering and Flight Operations departments on technical matters and troubleshooting defects

Key Requirements:

  • Formal aviation-related engineering or trade licenses and/or experience as LAME or tertiary engineering qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of Reliability Systems and/or Statistical analysis
  • Ability to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Excel/Word/Ollook
  • Previous experience with maintenance management software and database e.g.: Envision, IAS, TRAX, Winair or similar
