Job Overview:

Our organization seeks a seasoned Electrical Reliability Specialist to provide advanced technical support across electrical systems and infrastructure within our fixed plant mining operation.

  • Collaborate with the team to resolve high-priority breakdowns, troubleshoot complex faults, and ensure timely and safe electrical maintenance execution.
  • Improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), support operational continuity, and maintain compliance with statutory electrical requirements.
  • Mentor electrical tradespeople and ensure adherence to site standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all site safety systems, statutory requirements, and organizational standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimize plant availability.
  • Provide hands-on support during breakdowns to assist in rapid equipment recovery and reduce MTTR.
  • Execute or guide complex repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners to provide practical feedback on task improvements.

Requirements:

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory).
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills on low and high voltage systems.
  • Sound understanding of electrical standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4836.
