Reliability Expertise Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Expert to drive optimal asset performance through effective management of defect elimination initiatives and targeted improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of downtime events, work management practices, and operational performance.
  • Develop business cases for improvement initiatives and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Create and maintain advanced dashboards in Power BI, integrating data from various sources.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering high-level technical guidance to engineering teams to drive strategic alignment and ensure the adoption of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop recommendations for improvements.
  2. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize asset performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives.
  4. Maintain advanced dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Engineering or technical qualifications – all disciplines considered.
  • Root Cause Analysis (required) – formal training and proven track record in delivering high-quality investigations.
  • Data Analysis (required) – ability to interrogate large datasets to identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Power BI Development (required) – capable of building dashboards from scratch and integrating multiple data sources.
