Fire Protection Specialist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fire Protection Specialist to join our team in Laurieton. As an On-Call Firefighter, you will play a crucial role in protecting people, property, and the environment in your local community.
About the Role:
- You will work from your local Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Fire Station and be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties including community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies, and collaborating with other emergency services.
- You will receive training on an ongoing basis, covering all aspects of firefighting and rescue, including basic life support, rope work, power tool use, and community engagement skills.
Requirements:
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
- An Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- Living and/or working within a reasonable distance of the FRNSW Fire Station
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Reliability and availability across weekdays and weekends, including day and night work
Benefits:
- A base retainer of $78.28 per fortnight
- $33.14 per hour for incident and drill attendance
