Child Protection Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Port Augusta. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality support services to vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Sensitively handle requests for assistance from clients and conduct research to develop client-centered responses
- Enable clients to access appropriate services by accurately assessing their needs and referring them to Social Workers or other agency staff as required
- Contribute to the development and review of intervention, access, and family care plans in relation to access supervision
- Attend regular case discussions with DCP workers, supervisors, and other relevant parties as needed
- Provide child and family support and assist with programs and activities that demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a range of stakeholders. You will also possess strong initiative and confidence in taking action to achieve daily objectives.
