Job Description:

This full-time term position is based in the Port Augusta office, working as part of a team to deliver child protection services across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking specialist assessments of complex high-risk infant cases, supporting social workers and case managers, coordinating service responses, and providing expert opinions in court proceedings.

  • A degree-level qualification in Social Work or a related field, or relevant experience and skills">
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Child Protection Act and its implications">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with families and carers">
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities">
