As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to children and families, promoting positive experiences and outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a team environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and display initiative and confidence in achieving daily objectives.

You will use your understanding of child development, positive parenting techniques, and factors that impact relationships between children, young people, and their families to identify innovative solutions and provide efficient client services.

The Department for Child Protection plays a critical role in protecting children, young people, and their families in South Australia. Our department provides support to vulnerable children and young people to ensure they are safe, strong, and connected.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and review of intervention, access, and family care plans in relation to access supervision. You will also attend regular case discussions with DCP workers, supervisors, and other relevant parties as required.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in child protection, working closely with other professionals to deliver services to Port Augusta and surrounding areas.

To succeed in this role, you will have a current Australian driver's licence (P2 or above) and a willingness to drive.
