Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Workers. This role is ideal for those who enjoy challenging yet rewarding work and are committed to providing exceptional support to people of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Providing personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication administration, transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility.
  • Supporting clients in their daily activities, including community engagement, social events, and leisure activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on a flexible roster to meet the needs of our clients, including daytime, evening, and overnight shifts.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality support services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of disability support principles and practices.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, Blue Card (Working with Children Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and a Driver's License.
