Job Description

The Business Development Consultant role is a pivotal position in our organization, driving growth and partnerships through regional client development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding business opportunities, building lasting relationships with childcare centers, and fostering strategic partnerships.

  • Develop and manage tailored training solutions for regional clients to meet their unique needs.
  • Drive new business growth by engaging in face-to-face client meetings, coordinating enrolments, and nurturing existing clients.
  • Travel to regional areas as required, utilizing your own reliable vehicle and holding a current driver's license.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead regional client development and partnerships to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Effectively manage their schedule, ensuring timely attendance at team meetings and aligning with organizational goals.
  • Engage with both Early Childhood Education and Care and Aged Care sectors where relevant and appropriate.
Essential Criteria

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B/B2C sales, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • A strong drive to consistently achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • An ability to build long-lasting, mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills, allowing for efficient coordination of multiple projects and tasks.
  • A valid Working with Children check and full working rights within Australia.
  • A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and experiences would be highly valued:

  • Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education and Care and Aged Care.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
  • Qualifications in Business or Education.
